Texting for repair shops

"Is my phone ready?" Answered before they ask.

Customers get a text when the repair is checked in and when it's ready, from your shop's number. They can text back, and it lands in one inbox next to their repair.

First month of Pro free, no card. Then CA$39 a month (about US$28), or CA$25 for the first 10 shops. Or stay on Free: one person, up to 30 repairs a month.

Texts that do the work for you

Check-in and ready texts

Sent automatically as the repair moves along, with the balance owing and how to pay.

Two-way, with photos

Customers reply from their phone, photos included, and you answer from the app.

Pickup reminders

A friendly nudge when a repair sits ready, a final notice, and storage fees for devices left too long.

Missed-call text-back

When nobody can answer, the caller gets a text so you don't lose the job.

Review requests

Ask happy customers for a Google review after pickup, at most once every six months.

Your own wording

Change what every message says, or add your own (Pro Plus).

How the number works

In Canada, one click on Pro gives your shop its own local number with 500 texts a month, or 3,000 on Pro Plus. In the US, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, connect your own Twilio number.

  • Approve automatic texts before they go, if you'd rather check them first
  • Customers can opt out with STOP at any time
  • Texting is off for anyone who asks not to be texted
Questions

Good to know

Which plan includes texting?

Pro (500 texts a month in Canada) and Pro Plus (3,000). The free month includes 100 to try it, and the Free plan doesn't include texting.

Do I need a Twilio account?

Not in Canada: the number is built in. In other countries, texts go through your own Twilio number.

Can customers text photos?

Yes. Photos they send show up in the conversation next to their repair.
